No, Camp Banksia can accommodate for 1 to 155+
Exclusive use of the site is available to any group of 26+
22 bunk style cabins are on site, plus our Banksia Beach cabins
Each bunk cabin sleeps 6 persons
No linen is supplied but it can be hired for $20 per person per stay
Fixed electric wall panel heating is in all rooms
Yes, there are ramps and disabled bathrooms for ease of access
Catering
Camp Banksia offers catering to any group of 15+
Groups can BYO, or we can supply for a small fee
Yes all 3 are provided with full catering
Meals are served at a suitable time for your group

Each cluster of cabins has their own external bathrooms

Activities
- The camp supplies balls and some games free of charge
- Tennis courts are free
- A small fee is charged for bikes, kayaks and stadium
- Fees do apply for Tas Parks & Wildlife and Slipstream programs

No, getting to and from the camp is campers responsibility, but we can supply a list of local bus operators for your convenience

Local Amenities
Yes the Shearwater medical centre is 2km from camp and the Mersey hospital is 16km away in Latrobe
There is a fuel station, two supermarkets (Woolworths & IGA), two bakeries an Amcal Chemist, Reject Shop, Newsagent, Home Hardware, several takeaway food outlets and a couple of cafes.
For dining out there is the Shearwater Resort, and Tranquil’s Restaurant.
