We are delighted to offer great range of facilities for your next camp or group event
Self Catering Kitchen
For camps choosing to self-cater we offer a separate kitchen facility which contains a gas oven with hot plates (900ml), a large indoor BBQ plate, a microwave oven, 2 standard fridges, instant zip hot water for hot drinks, cooking equipment and a small TV.
The kitchen area has a large covered outdoor area for groups to gather and dine.
Main Hall
The Main Hall is predominately used for camp dining but can also be utilised for anything your group requires. A large bright room with timber floors and wood heating, the hall can seat up to 180 people. Table and chairs are provided along with two kitchenettes, three small fridges, a large smart TV together with a DVD player and an amplifier.
Banksia Centre
This onsite complex consists of a full sized indoor basketball stadium which can be set up for other sports such as volley ball, netball or badminton (all nets and hoops etc. are supplied).
There are 2 meeting rooms which can be opened up into one large room. The meeting rooms are supplied with whiteboards, a smart TV, Blu-ray DVD player and Wi-Fi. There is a separate kitchen and a Performing Arts room which can be utilised as an indoor space, music practise room, dance room or much much more.
Banksia Beach Cabins
Two complexes make up our self-contained Banksia Beach Cabins.
Complex 1 consists of 3 rooms. Two large adjoining rooms, each with a queen bed, four bunk beds, bathroom, toilet, TV & DVD player. Another room has two bunk beds only. There is an adjoining kitchen / dining room complete with cooking facilities and eating utensils. Max capacity for this complex is 14 persons.
Complex 2 is right next door. This complex is a self-contained unit that has 2 separate bedrooms. One bedroom houses a double bed and the other a single set of bunks. There is a small lounge area with a couch, full kitchen and a separate shower & toilet. Max capacity for this unit is 4 persons.
Blackwood Bunk Accommodation
One clusters of either 5 cabins makes up the original bunk style accommodation at Camp Banksia. Blackwood Cabins can sleep up to 30 people.
The cabins have mattresses only, so BYO bedding and linen. All cabins are heated with electric panel heaters.
